Do Not Be Missled By The Tittle- This is Domination,
By Warrior Goddess "Lynn" (Every Where) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Goddess Blackwoman: Mother of Civilization ("12 Lessons") (Paperback)
After reading this book I was appalled at that this chauvinistic westernized foolishness was being pawned off as goddess knowledge. This is nothing more than a glorified pimp manual, complete with programming cues! It is full of half truths and rhetoric. The author skillfully lifts the reader up by telling her that she is the creator of the universe, just enough truth to draw the reader in but not enough to liberate her. He then tells her how to act, what to wear, when to speak, when not to speak and that her divine mission is to serve God ( which in this book is the black man). On multiple occasions the author even speaks to the reader as if she is a lapdog that he is attempting to train. "You like that don't you? Yes you do." "You agree with me,don't you? Yes you do."
Now, if I know the meaning of words like I think I do a goddess is a god in female form. So if the black woman is a goddess and the black man is a god that puts us on equal territory doesn't it? 1. Why then is the goddess the servant to the god. 2. If the black woman goddess is mother to the universe why are you telling her what to wear and how to behave? That math simply does not add up. This is yet another book by a male author attempting to keep women under their feet and out of their way. The unfortunate thing is that a who is lost and has no clue who she truly is and is looking for some direction could be lead astray by this fraudulent pamphlet. The truth of the matter is that no man can tell the woman the truth about who and what she is because he is not a woman, he has no uterus. GODDESS KNOWLEDGE CAN ONLY COME FROM A GODDESS! That's like me writing a book for a bird to tell it how to fly! I don't have wings! I can tell it how I think it should fly, or even better how I WANT it to fly. But that's about it. The real pity is that there are women who will buy this book or others like it because they are not in a place where they can accept knowledge from a woman. Until that is corrected those who feel that way will fall victim to being whatever that man wants you to be.

All Praise is due to Allah!,
This review is from: The Goddess Blackwoman: Mother of Civilization ("12 Lessons") (Paperback)
Thank you, Brother Akil, for sharing what Allah has revealed to you. Many Black Women, including myself, have no idea what their original, God-given purpose is. Through reading this book I have a new-found sense of worth and value to my family, community, the world and ultimately my Creator. This book is not for those of us who are not ready to take a soul-searching, scrutinizing look at ourselves in the name of understanding and ultimately change! If you are ready to elevate your thinking and your level of consciousness, this book is definitely for you. I have purchased this book for all of my girlfriends after it was given to me by a very dear friend. Everyone absolutely loved it and we continue to read and apply it to our lives.

Patronizing Pimp Mindmeld for the Unsuspecting,
This review is from: The Goddess Blackwoman: Mother of Civilization ("12 Lessons") (Paperback)
This is not a true book exalting and proclaiming Black Goddess. Do not buy if you are a conscious Black Goddess. This is the work of an average man attempting to pimp Black women unawakened to our divine birthright. This is a poorly written, condescending book by a Muslim misogynist. Sistahs, beware and BE AWARE.

This book was given to me by a brother in queens who read it himself and once the book was opened i couldn't put it down. You can't help but apply the information that is obtained in this book in your life because he tells you how powerful you are and once that knowledge is known there is no stopping you. Women are powerful individuals who seek powerful Men. Women who don't know themselves will seek just that; a man who does not know himself. I have recommended this book to every women and man I know. It's the best piece of knowledge I have ever read!!!!

This book made me look at life in a different light. It has made me more aware of how the media and society views blackwomen and I am so honored that in the recent years that I have made the necessary steps to study my own African history and including reading this book to know more about myself and who I am. I am now more confident in being a black woman after reading this book. I am more aware. This book has made me feel that I can be myself and that I don't have to conform to the standards of this dead world. I know in reality this world is trying to intimidate the black woman and to make her hate herself. It's time for black women to wake up and face what's out here and stand strong.

I recommend this book for all Sistahs and Brothas. Never have I ever read a book that put the black woman in her true perspective. Too many times Sistahs look to relationship books from celebrities and/or unknown white authors for assistance on black love. Although, one must know and love thyself before any one else can love you. I give this book out to every Sistah I know who is willing to take a copy from me.

I think this book is very informative. Although I am not a Muslim woman I do support some of their philosophies. I know that when the author is referring to God he is in fact referring to the black man. I am learning a lot by reading this book and like all other books I read I filter out what works for me and my life. In no way do I think the book has a misogynistic approach but simply a firm and realistic approach for sistas living in the united states in this day and age.
