I tend to be a junkie for various metaphysical decks -- tarot cards, medicine cards, rune cards, etc. -- but the Goddess Oracle is the one I use the most because it's the most helpful and effective. It always sheds light on whatever my problem is and gives greater insight. The correspondences between the goddesses shown and the meanings are wonderful and Marashinsky's research, respect and love for the topic shine through. Janto's art is the perfect compliment. She has created some of the most beautiful depictions of goddesses I've ever seen. Everyone I've ever introduced to the Goddess Oracle has been blown away by it and soon after bought their own. That should say something.

This set of cards, with book, is obviously made for women, by women.... However, I found it very useful, not-only as an Anthropological collector's item, but as a Spiritual Tool. A man who is not willing to accept the Feminine in himself and the world will Never achieve harmony with Nature's Laws. This set is a Wonderful gift or purchase for anyone interested in Spirituality/Religion/Mythology/Goddesses (THEY ARE RENDERED VERY ARTISTICALLY AND EXUDE BEAUTY AND FLOWING, GRACEFUL FORM !) and related fields of interest. You cannot go wrong with this set. If-only Tarot cards were produced so well! My Tarot collection pales in comparison with the presentation of these cards...which you will find yourself meditating upon, simply because they are so Inviting and Beautiful.... I bought one for my Girlfriend, and had to get one for myself !

I usually have trouble using other tarot decks. The instructions are usually vague, and you have to memorize so many different meanings. But The Goddess Oracle is straight forward and easy to understand. I wasn't constantly flipping back to the booklet to find the meanings to the cards. You aren't restricted to any certain spread. I clearly understood the answers to my questions. Also, I've never seen such beautifully illustrated cards. I also liked how background info was given for each goddess. I highly recommend this.

Hrana Janto's artwork is stunning-- women of all shapes, sizes, ages and colors grace the cards, representing goddesses from an amazingly large amount of world cultures. I have an art print of my favorite goddess-- Isis-- on one of my walls, and wish I had more. The colors are vivid and the research that went into each card, the symbols that the cards contain and the representations of all the archetypes-- show strong committment to the goddess stories.

This is a deck of cards that you feel good about owning, because you feel somehow connected to all these fabulous women.

I have used various "tarot" decks for almost ten years and found this book and its accompanying artwork to be first-rate. It's been my favorite deck since I purchased it. I especially like the variety of goddesses in terms of their energies and how they are painted. Goddesses (women) in all phases of life and all shades of beauty are portrayed as mirrors to those elements which exist in each of us. I have used the deck and book by myself, with my husband, and with close friends to gain insight into life's daily challenges. The gentle but firm reminder to welcome all parts of ourselves and turn any situation around on the path to wholeness is a daily mantra for me. Thank you Amy and Hrana! I recommend this set to anyone looking for insight and depth into themselves and the world around them.

Beautiful artwork and a well-written, thoughtful companion book makes this a perfect combination. I can't believe I almost passed it up! Definitely a must-have for Goddess-worshippers and people interested in Mythology

Hrana Janto has done a splendid job of capturing the power of the goddess in her beautiful paintings. I especially appreciated the cultural variety expressed in the selection of goddesses, which reach beyond the familiar to include divinities lesser-known in modern times but important in terms of expanding the image of the feminine divine.

The cards are beautifully illustrated. The information is clear. There is a meditation for contacting each Goddess. The best deck to come out in years. It is wonderful to remember long forgotten goddesses and what their energetics are. Whatever your needs are in the moment, there is a goddess to call upon. I am very impressed with this piece of work. I hope she expands on this with the Goddesses divine consorts. I have many types of decks, but this is my favorite after 30 years of collecting and reading them.

I bought this book and set of cards from Amy, herself, when she was at a local bookstore. I feel very fortunate to have met her. Since then I have shared the cards with friends and all have been pleased and surprised with the positive, clear guidance in them. It doesn't matter what faith you have, I believe these tools are created with Blessings and can serve anyone. I agree with the rave reviews I have read. This set can help a person put a positive, balanced spin on any situation. Thank you Amy and Hrana.

First of all, this is a dual set: a book and a magnificentlyiluustrated deck of cards, pr obably the most inspiring art I've seen since the The Keys to the Kingdom card set. We received The Goddess Oracle as a gift from a close friend who knew the book and cards intimately. We did "readings" one evening and the experience was far and away a deeper experience than we could have anticipated. There are a lot of products on the market like the Rune Stones, Medicin e Cards (which we own) and they range in insight from fortune cookie quality to cloyingly new-a ge, to I-Ching-like truths. The first major difference is the caliber of the writing; while other books' texts seem impersonal and generic, it's clear that this text comes from true depth of e xperience. To my knowledge, this is the only book of its kind, using the goddesses as metaphors for personal traits as well as archetypal feminine principles that have as their basis virtually every ancient civilization on earth, when it was woman who was the keeper of all things sacred, the healer, vitally connected to birth and all other mysteries. The amazing part is, it doesn't come off generic because the readings offer DIRECTION rather than fortune cookie axioms. How much you take the readings to heart is your own affair. But at the very least, any intelligent reader s who come to this book and cards with open hearts and minds are going to find that their resulting introspection and reflection is higly beneficial
