The Goddess Oracle Rocks!,
By
This review is from: The Goddess Oracle: A Way to Wholeness Through Goddess and Ritual (Paperback)
If you are a person who is interested in connecting with the Goddess in more than an archetype form, this Oracle can help clear the way! With 52 images of the Goddess spanning different cultures from American Indian to Greek to African to many others, various aspects of the Goddess are brought to life. Each card has a poem, mythology, meaning and a ritual/meditation to connect with each Goddess and set one on a path to wholeness in life. This Oracle doesn't say what one wants to hear, it says what one needs to hear. I highly recommend The Goddess Oracle by these two lovely ladies!

A Deep Exploration of Goddess Wisdom,
By
This review is from: The Goddess Oracle: A Way to Wholeness Through Goddess and Ritual (Paperback)
I've owned this deck for years and have continued to find the lore, mediations and wisdom within to be both healing and revealing. The illustrations are beautiful, the poems are thought provoking, and the meditation journeys are transformative. I wish it would go back into print so more people could enjoy this unique treasure.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Goddess Oracle: A Way to Wholeness Through Goddess and Ritual (Paperback)
I actually had bought this deck a long time ago, but somehow the deck and book had been separated. So I came to Amazon to get a replacement book. Surprise, surprise, I got an extra deck with it. Great! I now have something to either do spells or crafts with.
The artwork in this deck is absolutely gorgeous. I fell in love with it pretty much on sight, which was part of the reason I bought it initially. Each image gives a wealth of visual information, unlocking further nuances to the goddess represented. This is further expanded upon by the book, giving each goddess a lovely piece of poetry, mythological background, meanings for the card/goddess, and a ritual/meditation to work with the goddess even more. I haven't yet tried out the spreads listed in the book, but have loved all of the information I've gleaned about a variety of goddess, previously known and unknown. This is definitely a nice oracle deck to work with, and I've had some great energy work while dealing with it. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants something different from a standard 78-card tarot deck, or wanting to get more exposure to a wide variety of goddesses. |
