What a lovely book! The range of dresses depicted spans several years, the images are beautifully drawn and highly detailed, and the descriptions that accompany the illustrations are quite informative. I actually purchased this thinking that I would color the images -- but the book is just much too pretty to use!

I've been over the moon with fashion paper dolls since I was a kid. Discovering Dover Pictorial Archives coloring books was like Christmas morning for me!

Godey's Fashions Coloring Book is a dream you can make come true with gel pens, crayons, colored pencils -- whatever suits your mood and interpretation of the project.

Frame it or cut it out and incorporate the image into another crafts project! There's lots of fun here!

I just purchased these Dover COloring Books for my mother and she loves them. The detail is out of this world and the variety of colors you can use are only limited by your inagination. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Ming-Ju Sun just can't be beat when it comes to fashion coloring books for adult enthusiasts, terrific artistic renderings with not too much and not too little detailing...everything is just right. What I love about Ming-Ju Sun's designs is nothing is inked in already, like it is with other artists designs (namely Tom Tierney).

I'm an adult coloring fanatic and this one is my fav regarding fashions of yesteryear. You won't find any backgrounds in these designs, it's all about the dresses, which is a nice change of pace.

This book is printed on quality white paper, great for pencils. The designs are printed back to back and marker will bleed through.

Relax with it and have fun! It's what they're all about :)

This book is wonderful. The fashions depicted are truly lovely. I'm enjoying it already. Definately a keeper!

I love this coloring book. I only wish there was a picture on one side of the paper,other then that it's great!

This is absolutely one of my favorite coloring books! I am a 34 year old and really enjoy coloring. Most of Dover coloring books (in my opinion) are for adults, they have a lot of rich detail and are difficult for small hands and attention spans to color well in deep detail, but for the adult they are fabulous! I really love the small print ups that accompany each picture and talk about the time period they came from and the style, this (the worded print up) is something that is in many of Dover's coloring books. The paper works perfectly with my twist up coloring pencils as well and I love that the paper is recycled. If you enjoy coloring and lots of detail for beautiful finished pictures this is the coloring book for you!

This was the first book I started with when I decided to use coloring as a stress reliever. It really works!! Now I have my granddaughters sitting with me and coloring the beautiful women and gowns with colored pens and pencils. I recommend over 10 though, some gowns are quite extensive.

This book was so much fun! I loved the illustrations. They were very detailed and high quality. I definetely would recommend this book to anyone who loves grown-up coloring books. I wish the illustrator would design more drawings in books like these!

and I am seriously loving this Godey's Fashion Book. You don't have to hide the fact
that you still love to color...there are a lot of us out here who still enjoy it and
have come out of the closet. Ha Ha!
