This book has been a long time coming. One of the absolute greatest movies of all time has been quoted in all it's glory. Each of the classic lines are here from "Fredo you're my older brother" to "Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes!" Each page is elegantly illustrated and some quotes even reference their refering shot from the actual film. No true Godfather fan should be with out this classic addition to the original work.

I ordered this product not fully knowing what to expect. What I got was more then expected! This product has a very nice front and back cover and the pages are lined in gold - think of Bibles that have gold on the page lining. It shows great classic quotes and backs most of them up with clips from the movie. My friend loves Godfather and absolutely loved this book when he unwrapped it! 5 stars well deserved!

"The Godfather" is considered one of the best films of all time. It is a rare example of a movie that has enjoyed as much of a critical acclaim as popular success. Its gritty, dominating story of the hard realities of life in the organized crime underworld has remained fresh and relatable even after four decades since the movie has been released. A big part of the fascination with the movie stems from the hard-nosed "philosophical" outlook on life that it seems to suggest. This outlook is conveyed through the action-packed scenes that were considered incredibly violent at the time when the movie was released. However, the outlook is conveyed even more forcefully through many memorable quotes that have since become an integral part of the American culture. All of these great quotes are included in this small yet well designed book. They include "I'll make him an offer he can't refuse," "This is business, not personal," "Leave the gun. Take the cannolis," and many, many others. Some of these quotes don't make much sense outside of their original context, but that only adds to their poignance. Nonetheless, this book is replete with illustrations and photographs from the movie that try to recapture some of the original context. It is a very well designed book, and even if you are not the biggest "Godfather" fan out there you will most likely enjoy it, and may even decide to watch the movie again. It has certainly had that effect on me.

This has to be the best gift anyone can give to a Godfather aficionado. It truly captures the spirit of the original Godfather film. The design and packaging are beautiful. I was very surprised at the details in the artwork and even the material the publisher used for the outside of the book... it may be leather (I can't tell) with gold stamping-- but it's a real treat to hold and read... and all the great moments are here, page after page, such as, "Make him and offer he can't refuse..." or "Leave the gun take the cannoli" -- This book makes a great gift for someone or yourself!

All the great quotes that we all remember. All done tastefully in a nice package. The art work and set up for the quotes are a great back drop on every page. Buy this book or "They will make you an offer you can't refuse"

This book is just how is sounds. Like a GOD! Exact quotes from the famous movie the Godfather. I gave this to my friend and colleague who was a die hard fan of the Godfather and he loved the book. It was one of the best gift books he has ever received and thanked me very much. This book is a completely great book and everyone should own one.

I got this for my man because he is a die-hard Godfather fan. The quality of the book is great with good weight, crisp pictures and the binding is beautiful.

For anyone who loves the Godfather, this is something that you will really like!

Very nice gift for any fan of the genre. The book is nicely made and captures the essence of the original film. However, one editorial misprint within the quotes.
