I bought this online about two years ago. While my skill level doesn't let me utilize this guitar enough, I really love it. There is so many tone options and the revoicer adds a lot to that. The P-Rail is what attracted me to this guitar. The p90 position hase a nice bright sound that is still full. I like the single coil position as well, but not as much as the p90 because its closer to the bridge. (I could reverse it and have the single closer, but I'm not messing with the setup.) The general feel of the guitar is amazing, very comfortable and the neck is in the right place for me. My SG always feels like I am stretching to reach the first few frets.

I am short with small to medium hands so I asked a few of my larger friends to try it out. They also agreed that it is very easy to play and has a great feel. Everyone wanted a turn borrowing it. I left it in the studio for about two months for whoever wanted to try it out. Now I don't know how honest this is, but I was told it plays as nice as a Les Paul and a G&L take it for what it is. I'm no expert but when I pick her up I don't really want to stop playing. Most of my other guitars just sit around now. While expensive compared to a squire or epiphone, it really is comparable to fender and gibby's. Playing clean is where it really shines, but sounds awesome with both humbuckers on with a lot of gain! Real value at that price point.

Highly recommend you trying one if you can find a local dealer that carries them(might want to buy from them also, support the local scene). I took a chance with an online place out of BC Canada and it came in setup perfect. But perfect for me, might be different for you. At about 1,400 I would get one of these over a Fender American Strat.
