I have never received so many complements about my crystal as I did with these. My "good" crystal cost over $50 per glass and they hardly get noticed! I bought these for a dinner party because I didn't have 12 goblets and they looked like a good deal. I'm going to buy more for coctail parties. They are substantial and look like they cost a great deal more than they do. If you look really closely, you can tell they aren't high end crystal, but no one looks that closely - especially at a fancy dinner that has low light and candles. There's no worry here if someone chips one. Also, at this price I didn't worry about putting them in the dishwasher.

That's it. It's a good cheap crystal set. Glasses are heavy and thick and they do feel a little bit bulky, but they look just fine on the table - still sparkling and shiny. You probably will not cry if you brake one of these, but that's what makes this set even better! It's crystal but it's very practical and very cheap.

Packing wasn't great, but surprisingly all glasses were OK. I ordered this set on Dec 31 and my estimated delivery date was showing as Jan 27. But I received them on Jan 2!

The bottom line - I will definitely keep this crystal set and use it for all possible occasions. I will get another one as a gift for my friend - it comes in an elegant white box.

This crystal is a great bargin for the money - I choose super saver shipping. I've looked and can't top the quality/quantity for the price. So far I've purchased the set of water glasses and the goblets. This set is great and worry free when serving a large dinner that usually includes children. If you like a heavy weight crystal this is it. Save your "good stuff" for the quiet intimate times. Also, this crystal shows up the china quite nicely.

these were packed quite well but 2 goblets were received broken

also the description goblet seems to be incorrect they are not big enough to be goblets they basically are like a wine glass but with more thickness

they dont have the volume of a goblet

I purchased the Dublin Goblets & the Dublin Ice Beverage from Amazon. I had purchased the Dublin Ice Beverage set of 4 from a popular store, only to find one glass was missing. I returned the two sets. While surfing the web, I discovered Amazon carried that line of product to my surprise. I pay Amazon a few dollars more and got 4 extra glasses. The glasses are beautiful, sparkling and has great weight. My first dinner affair will be with my grandchildren, teaching them table manners in a elegant setting. These glasses are going to look glorious on my Easter's Dinner table this year.

I ordered 12 Godinger wine goblets from Chestnut at the fantastic price of $35.00. In transporting the product, UPS reported damage. Zissy, from Chestnut, was on the order immediately, and, although they were not here on time, she worked her "magic" to get them to me as soon as possible. I was absolutely amazed at the quality. My friend asked for "any" kind of wine goblet, but she's definitely getting MUCH better than that. I know she'll be pleased with her gift, and I will be pleased to be invited over to "baptize" the goblets. They are nice heavy goblets with the cut of glass that Waterford tries to give at a much higher price. Thanks, Zissy, for your time and effort, and thanks Chestnut for your personal, hands-on work.

They came very quickly and Were packaged very well. I love them. They matched the other Dublin Crystal I have. Very Nice. I do recomend them.

These are my standbys for entertaining. Look like Waterford, have a nice heft to them, don't break easily--when they do you don't cry!

I have been using these for years, but needed replacements. The price online including shipping was less than I could buy them for here.

I never take the time to write reviews of items I've bought from Amazon but I signed on just to rave about these wine goblets. The Godinger Dublin Crystal Set looks just as beautiful in person as it does on this site. My main reason for investing in a new set of wine glasses was because the ones I received (that I registered for) for my wedding were thin and broke ridiculously easy. I was also trying to get away from the balloon red wine glasses and get a more classic, goblet type glass. These glasses are gorgeous, sturdy, and inexpensive. I did, as suggested, fill the four glasses with 1 part water, 1 part vinegar overnight and then washed with mild dish detergent. Overall, a great buy.

These wine glasses were purchased with the coordinated water glasses and are an excellent value for the money. They are a good size for all around use as a wine glass, and appear to be more durable than some more expensive crystal pieces. I would, however, suggest that the manufacturer include care instructions in the packaging.
