4.0 out of 5 stars Nice product, even if you have to work a bit to get it working.
I had the same issue with my dispenser that other people seemingly have had. Open the box, fill it with liquor and nothing comes out. Thanks to Franks suggestion, I opened up the "nozzle". Anyone who has the same problem and some basic skills should be able to get this working great. The problem is that the nozzel works by phsically crimping a plastic tube, but while the...

This was a gift and I hesitated not giving it because of the low quality. It's nice as a decoration but thats about it.

I had the same issue with my dispenser that other people seemingly have had. Open the box, fill it with liquor and nothing comes out. Thanks to Franks suggestion, I opened up the "nozzle". Anyone who has the same problem and some basic skills should be able to get this working great. The problem is that the nozzel works by phsically crimping a plastic tube, but while the product sits around on the shelf, the tube ends up sticking shut. To fix, use a sharp screwdrive to gently prying off the top cap, the front and rear rings. Once these are removed, pry open the nozzle casing. You may have to use two screwdrivers and it may feel like there is something else holding it together, but it's really just the two rings and the top cap. Once open, you will see the tube crimped. As Frank says, remove the tube and massage it until it opens. Put it all back together the same way it came apart and enjoy this neat product.

4.0 out of 5 stars If yours needs fixing..., December 28, 2006
This review is from: Godinger Gas Pump Liquor Dispenser (Kitchen)
I bought 2 for friends for Christmas and neither worked... the problem is the plastic tube inside the pump handle gets a memory kink in it that's SUPER easy to fix.

To fix it, remove the one phillips screw. Then remove the cap at the hose end, the cap end (this one is a bit tough to get off) and the one on the nozzle. The handle will then open like a clam shell. Pull the handle back and remove the plastic hose...you will immediately see the crimp in the hose. Massage it a bit and work it out. Put it back in by lifting the handle and try to get the hose in a different spot than the original kink... you don't have to go very far. Put it back together with a bit of finessing in reverse order...tada... Easy Breezy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Deal with this guy he is great, January 27, 2009
This review is from: Godinger Gas Pump Liquor Dispenser (Kitchen)
The item I did get had a malfunction, so I emailed him right away, and told him he told he can either credit me, or I can return for a new one. No problems he was very easy to deal with, and it did get here before the time marked so that is always a plus, I would buy from him again.

The item is exactly what the picture was. Very easy transaction!

Thank you very much!!

Bought 4 of these with the special offer worked out at $12.50 each. Well worth it. surprised at how robust they are built out of metal. Highly recommend this for the price.

No matter what the other reviews said, about the liquor getting stuck in the hose, we followed the directions to the "T" and it works great. It is really, really a great looking dispenser. My husband built his own garage and just finished making his own bar and it looks awesome on the top of the stone finished bar! The price is amazing, for how this looks, granted it is made of plastic parts, but I would buy another in a minute, and my Son wants one also.

I looked every where that I possibly could for this unique dispenser and found it on amazon.com. IT shipped in great condition and arrived quickly. It has turned out to be a fantastic conversation piece and it actually works. I filled it with my favorite beverage and it sits on the bar. It is a great novelty piece

I bought this as a present for my niece on her birthday. She loves this and has it displayed at her house. She gets compliments on this when anyone sees it. She was so pleased as was I with the low, low price.

contrary to reading some of the reviews of people who said this didn't work mine works great. People have even asked me where I got the pump.
It's a great conversation peace around my bar.

5.0 out of 5 stars This thing is awesome!, June 29, 2007
Really not whole lot to write about here. It's a liquor dispenser, looks and functions like a miniature version of an old gravity fuel pump. Simply pour in your favorite libation, then pull the trigger on the pump, and you are cleanly and efficiently dispensing perfect shots! No more spills, no more losing precious liquor to the table, no more messy drunken bottle pouring. And it even looks cool too.
