Sellers are selling a different item that what is shown. They are selling the Chapel Hill model under this Monticello model listing. The Godinger Chapel Hill model is slightly different and is being sold for less under a different listing on Amazon. Make sure you get confirmation from the seller that what they are selling is the right model.

I have been looking for a unique drink dispenser for some time now - but all the models I see in the stores look the same, are low quality, sit too low on the table to enable a glass to fit under the dispenser or the stands were not stable enough. I was thrilled to see this on the web - looked to be exactly what I was after - silver and crystal glass is elegant but can be used casually as well. $70.00 less than the same product on a different site. Arrived in a short time, packaged well. When I unwrapped the package my initial response whas "Oh no...this is plastic and I wanted glass." Once I removed all the wrapping I relaized that the canister was indeed glass - but it is rather thin. While I understood at the time I placed the order - for the price there was no way this was actually crystal as stated in the Amazon description - I expected something a bit more sturdy. The item comes in 3 pieces - the bottom stand, the lid and the glass canister with a permanently mounted spout. It looks great. The stand is solid, the lid is even solid. I am concerned that the glass could crack at the slightest knock and expected thicker glass for a self service food item. We'll see how it goes.

Very nice beverage dispenser,

I don't own this particular (exact model) with the "glass" cylinder.I do however own the same model with the "acrylic" cylinder. I opted for the acrylic cylinder model, as it allows the dispenser to be used out doors as well. Both models offer the exact same features and design. However, the "acrylic" cylinder model is $35.00 less expensive. Keep in mind, neither the glass or the acrylic models have a center fill ice cylinder, allowing the beverage to remain cold. I personally find frozen fruit not only does the trick. But looks fantastic as well. Depending on the beverage being dispensed, the variety of frozen fruit one can use is really unlimited. I find frozen strawberries, quartered lemons, limes, oranges, and even whole cranberries look fantastic, and work very well in keeping beverages chilled, for several hours.
