The price is slightly steep, but not ridiculously so for the finer grade of chocolate and cocoa used in this hot cocoa mix. When you open the canister, you'll smell the dark chocolate scent immediately--in fact, we could smell the chocolate before we even opened the packaging from shipping! We thought it had spilled, it was so strong, but it hadn't -- it was perfectly sealed, and when we broke the plastic seal on the metal tin, and then popped off the suctioned lid, the aroma filed the entire kitchen. The mix itself was dark chocolate with crystals of beautiful sugar flaked through it. Spooning two big spoonfuls into each mug, we then poured water over it from the Proctor Silex K2070 1-Quart Automatic Electric Kettle, White and stirred, sipped and moaned in pleasure.

WE played with the mix ratio a few times to discover that we could use considerably less than the instructions called for to make the best tasting cocoa.... very rich and creamy, dissolves easily, and tastes amazing.

This is the perfect indulgent treat for the chocolate lover in you!

This cocoa was originally bought as a stocking stuffer for a work colleague. As luck would have it, I ended up with it again, which is good for the family. This product is delicious, sitting around the fireplace with a decorated tree - sipping away at chocolate.
