4.0 out of 5 stars Delicious!
I found this to be a delicious, subtly chocolate coffee. I added a bit of sweetener and some cream, and thought it was delightful. I'm not usually a flavored coffee drinker, but picked this up because of the Godiva name. I'm put off by very strong flavors, so I found this to be just my taste. If you like mocha lattes from the coffee shop, give this a try. I subtracted one...

2.0 out of 5 stars Will not Repurchase
I hoped with Godiva's reputation for excellent chocolate, that this coffee would have a rich chocolate taste. I found it bitter and the chocolate tasted artificial. For this reason, I'd rather buy Senseo's Vienna flavor next time.

Talk about resting on your laurels, the only thing this coffee is good for is adding a nice aromatic accent to the kitchen in the mornings. It has no real coffee or chocolate taste - just a bland nothingness. You'd be better off squirting some Hershey's syrup into a cup of Folgers than drinking this bilge water. Save your money...

2.0 out of 5 stars Weak Coffee or chocolate flavor, March 12, 2009
This review is from: Godiva Chocolate Creme Single-Serve Coffee Pods, 16 Count, 3.66 Ounce Bags (Pack of 3) (Grocery)
I figured I'd really like the Godiva Chocolate Creme Coffee pods for my Senseo because I like both coffee and chocolate. Having used these over a few weeks, I now feel that the coffee is fairly weak and so is the chocolate aspect. It's definitely drinkable, but won't leave you with a taste you can remember. If you're looking for a stronger coffee or chocolatey taste, this is likely to be disappointing.

Tried it, retried it, wife tried it, conclusion: insipid. The only barely acceptable way to prepare it, in my opinion, is to run two pods at single-pod followed by a single-pod Sumatra. Godiva is highly overrated and with absolutely NO returns, we're stuck with two more undesirable packs.

Avoid if you like coffee and avoid if you like chocolate. This ain't no mocha by a long stretch and it's a very poor choc creme.

Sigh. The smell is very strong, but I can't describe it as either chocolate or coffee. It sure doesn't taste like either. I love mocha, I simply can't call this mocha. I'm easily affected by the caffeine in coffee. This doesn't do a thing to me. As for the chocolate, some other reviewer said it tasted artificial. I totally agree.

We didn't like this at all. The rich chocolate flavor? Nope. Just a smell that I think smells like moldy socks. Everyone perceives taste differently but our family, at least, agreed this was not a good one.

I'm very disappointed this this product. The coffee taste bland. I'm surprised Godiva collaborated with such a poor product. Had I known that this is a Senseo product I would never have bought it. The flavor isn't rich even when I brew the 7 oz cups. There a slightly sour after taste. All in all, its a great deal for the money. But if you're into coffee, its probably not something you would want to put yourself through.

I was disappointed with the taste and price of this coffee. I don't recommend it unless you're looking for a VERY subtle flavor of chocolate only.

Weak, unimpressive, tasteless and way overpriced. Tastes like a coffee for little children. I will not repurchase!
