i had no idea what this comic was about, just that it looked very kirbyish. it was different than what i expected but i enjoyed it alot. i found most of the characters and plots interesting and loved that they quoted iron maiden. i'm glad i picked this up, the hardcover has a great cover and doesn't feel flimsy at all.

This Eisner Award-nominated hardcover collection contains the first 12 issues of the GODLAND series by Tom Scioli and Joe Casey and includes an introduction by fan-favorite writer Grant Morrison. This is truly one of my favorite books in my collection. GODLAND is full of an unforgettable cast of characters including an alien dog-being, a cosmic powered hero (and his siblings), a villain with a floating skull head and so much more! Scioli's art is beautiful and the story is fun and exciting. I guarantee it is different from anything you have read before!
