a great single,

Download it if you have to, burn a copy from a friend. Whatever it takes. Just get your paws on Godlike, it's just a great single. It's been recorded several times, and I actually like all the versions I've heard. I have been told the main guitar riff of the song is a sample from a Slayer song ( unconfirmed as of yet ) but it doesn't diminish the power of the music or the lyrics at all for me. The "B-Sides" are pretty cool too.

I like this cd so much because it really shows how good KMFDM can be! Godlike is my favorite song from the out of print Naive cd, orange cover, This single, up until Agogo was the only place to hear a good version of Godlike! I recommend this cd if your really into KMFDM, because you might not want to start off with this cd as your first KMFDM cd.

Godlike is a good solid song (I like the version on the new Agogo CD more...), with this weird voice echoing in the background through a good portion of it :)Crazy Horses kinda sux, but after KMFDM shoots out soooo many good songs you have to expect them to do a bad one once in a while! KMFDM Doin' it again!! |
