My pastor lent me this book after I had questions for him about fasting. I was able to read through this book in one sitting, but it pretty much addressed all of my questions. It's quite enjoyable and easy to read. It's very biblically based, but it does address the physical side of fasting as well. It's very much worth reading!

This book was so detailed!If you are serious about understanding the importantance of fasting, then this book will not let you down. You should order this book right now! We are living in the last days in fasting is going to be extremely important tool to making it through some difficult times that we are going to face. So gird up and turn down some plates, tvs,telephones and etc....Let's get ready to hear from God!!!

I bought this book to pass on to some friends who had questions about fasting. It has a new cover from the original one I read
about 30 years ago but the material inside is the same and just as relevant. It was Holy Spirit and this book that got me into regular fasting. Consequently, I've enjoyed many answered prayers and revelations from God. The material is just as relevant and inspiring now as when it was first written. The author tells you what God has to say about fasting and it's benefits along with the types and lenghts of fasts. He also includes a diary of a 30 day fast he went on himself. I really appreciated the uncluttered, straight forward writing style.

Very thorough including great Biblical examples.

If you want to know more about fasting or don't know what fasting is, I would suggest reading this book ASAP.
