A fresh and novel look at ancient and current man's development,
By Michael "Spike" Behn "Namaste" (CLIFTON, VA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: God's Evolution (Paperback)
Boeckl has created a new twist on man's evolution looking at the three major "Domestication Cyles" of our past. His knowlege of history is encylopedic and intuitive and the reader sees insightful interpretations of otherwise standardized ways of viewing man's crawl from caves to computer chips. His synopsis and fresh view of the biblical eras are worth the read alone.
Although the book doesn't explicitly predict the future, one can only assume that that is the next publication from this new author. If not a prediction, at least a suggestion. The writing style is fast paced and is designed for those wanting a quick (150 page), efficient and "no holds barred" presentation of the author's views. This presentation, coupled with current transcendental thinking by the likes of Wilber, Beck and Roshi sets the stage for man's next domestication cycle/development. A worthy addition to the thinking man's library. |
