This an album that has self scientific featuring artists like Phil Da Agony, Planet Asia, and Krondon. I love the album, but the songs on the back of the album dont match the way they are on the CD. For example the song "Shame on a Ni**a" from Talib Kweli is on there, but it does not say that on the album. LONG LIVE THE SELF SCIENCE!!!

Everyone associates the West Coast with Dre, Pac and Game or they think of Bay rap and talent like Self Scientific is overlooked. Fact of the matter is: This is just solid hiphop plain and simple. You have good concept songs, awareness songs and gangsta rap as well. The best part of Gods & Gangstas is that you can truely let the whole CD play without skipping around. The skits are very short and don't deterr from the music. The beats are solid and bangin. You can get to headnodding to everyone of them and Chase Infinite comes correct on every track as does Krodon, Born Allah and Planet Asia. Honestly, if you are a fan of rap, in any form you will like this CD. Support real hip-hop and true MCs and producers like Self Scientific.

After hearing this mixtape I can't wait for the 'Change' LP. Khalil and Chase keep makin' passionate and progressive Hip-Hop and I hope the world takes notice. Between Khalil production genius and Chase's heart soaked lyricism God's and Gangsta is a must have for folks who love quality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
