Two Brothers, a film in current release, tells the story of two tiger cubs born in colonial French Indochina, separated by the cruelty of humans, and later reunited as adults. Jean-Jacques Annaud, director of The Bear and Quest for Fire, here recounts the genesis of his latest film in a heavily illustrated, behind-the-scenes companion book. The early part of the film takes place in the wilds of Cambodia, and the challenges of shooting a film among the ruins at Ankgor make for a good story--the description of getting actors (both human and tiger) and equipment to remote ruins, rivers, and jungles will impress the reader with the complicated logistics of filmmaking. The final portion of the book retells the Two Brothers story, using storyboards, text, and stills from the film. Lists of books for further reading and of tiger conservation organizations complete the text. This beautifully illustrated book will be very popular among fans of the movie Nancy Bent

This book is amazing ! Plenty of pictures about special effects, battle scenes, actors, makeup, soundtrack, landscape, a must have to all lovers of history, civil war or movies. I had never seen before such a work for a book about a movie ! You even could read the entire screenplay at the end !
Really, a wonderful job, Mr Maxwell !
