Sigh!,

This review is from: God's Gift: Over 100 Studs, Stallions and Dreamboats from the 70s and 80s (Hardcover)
Who's posters were on the walls of your bedroom when you were growing up? The odds are excellent that unless you answered Tiny Tim, your dream boy is in this book of "over 100 Studs, Stallions, and Dreamboats from the 70s and 80s."
Your faves are all here from the expected David Cassidy, Robert Redford, Tom Hanks, etc., to the surprising (for me, anyway) Telly Savalas, Mr. T, and Vanilla Ice. This is a fun little gift or book for your coffee table.

What a waste of money this was. Going by the cover, you would expect sexy men inside. Well, apart from a few good pictures, there are some very surprising inclusions. Limahl, Bryan Ferry, Morton Harket...Sexy ? Hardly !
Where is Lorenzo Lamas, Jon-Erik Hexum, Adam Baldwin???? I know this is my personal opinion, but some of these guys are not sexy by any stretch of the imagination. It seems to me that the pictures were chosen mainly depending on how cheaply-licenced they were, not on their quality. The book is tiny, not ideal for a photography book. Avoid this and instead get the book "Heartthrobs, 100 years of beautiful men."

This is a great tribute to hunks! I thoroughly enjoyed reliving the pleasant memories of me gazing at many of these very pictures when they graced my bedroom wall. I give the book 4 stars instead of 5 because of the glaring omission of Kip Winger. Other than that, it's a great "read."

Now I haven't read this book but it has been made. Very clear to me from an outside source that my baby "Brian Bloom. Has not been named as one of the best of the 100 studs. Why oh why what the hell is wrong with you people are you all on crack?. Look I know he has'nt acting much during the years so what. He still a human being who deserves some love. I hate it when people say ewwwwww he's too hairy blah blah. He is still fine to me I don't care how much hair you got.
I give this book 2 thumbs down BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! |
