More Chips n' Gravy 'n Cheezy Wotsits, November 14, 2007
Bought for nostalgia value I first wondered what I had done! surely it wasn't this bad when we used to listen to it at college all those years ago back in England? Then I listened to it again and realised it was a great big slice of memories from the most drunken college parties and trips to Blackpool with the mates. A fantastic collection of tracks full of the worst British humour imaginable. If you were there during the 80's buy it, if you weren't buy it anyway and pretend you were! Cheezy Wotsits forever !!

Well, this compilation of Macc Lad's noise is not only a very good representation of their work as a whole, but it is very typical of the form of working class english punk rock that was being put out in the 1980s. Raw, lewd, and unapologetic, this is a CD that makes great playing at the bar or living room to accompany a night of drinking with your friends. Not very harmonious, don't expect to find the world's best music, but it's great for a laugh and a drunken dance.
