Opening this little book is like sitting down with my friend and listening to her say the sweetest words to me...that just happen to be God's truth. It's easy to forget just how much God loves me when I get caught in the everyday, and it's hard to remember that my worth, my value, my identity all comes from the One who loves me so very much. Holley Gerth's book is just the reminder I need - and reading it really feels like a big hug (and a kick in the pants to remember who - and Whose - I am).

I love using devotional books, but sometimes I don't feel challenged by them or encouraged to grow. God's Heart For You is just the right balance of thought, Word, and questions. I love that I am encouraged to read the Word myself and asked questions that relate what I've read to my own life. Holley Gerth is a new favorite of mine! I hope she continues to write this type of devotional book because I'm already dreading when I finish this one!
