I have read this book many times already. It is such an encouragement to read. The bible verses and Max's insight combine wonderfully together. It small enough to be carried around whenever you need a pick me up through out the day

This book is one of my all time favorites, which is very surprising if you have every seen the size. I was in a book store with family rushing to leave and something stopped me. I picked up this book and then I put it down because I needed to leave with my family. I don't exactly know why I picked it back up to buy it, but it was the best book I ever purchased. It is all you ever wanted in a short-story, inspirational breath of fresh air. Any situation you are going through this book will help you connect with God to see you through. Take a chance. Take my advice. Buy it! You won't regret it!

This book is ideal for those needing an injection of inspiration and fortitude. It really touched my spirit. If you like this book, I also recommend, Peace Be Still: Inner Healing for Racial Harmony.

I use the book daily. I select one theme per week, and then read the same section each morning and evening, making the circle complete. The best daily devotional aide on the market

"God's Inspirational Promise Book" is a compilation of Lucado's thoughts and summaries on everyday issues from some of his titles, specficially: He Still Moves Stones, Walking With the Savior, In the Eye of the Storm, A Gentle Thunder, The Applause of Heaven, and perhaps other titles.

Some of the topics covered include:

1. Guidance
2. God's Love
3. Wisdom
4. Special Needs
5. Assurance
6. Personal Relationships
7. God
8. Christian Living
9. Insight
10. Jesus

Each topic contains around 8-10 separate readings (1-2 pages each) containing thoughts from other Lucado titles and some Bible verses relating to the subject.

The book may be read either as a devotion or could be read entirely over a few sittings.

I had given these books out as gifts and the people loved them.
They are extremly inspiring and uplifting.

That's it. While my mother was in the hospital earlier this year, I picked up a copy of this book that my niece had given to her. I loved it. I went out and purchased my own copy. It is worth having.

This book is written simply and helps me everytime I turn to it. I gave copies to my Mom and sister as a gift and they loved it as well.I refer to it daily, it's my "quick Bible",very inspirational.

As a hospice chaplain, I'm always searching for good devotionals to share with patients and their families. This small book is a giant asset for insights into God's still small voice.

I have read this refore and really enjoyed/appreciated it. I am now purchasing as a gift to a friend. Can't let my copy go yet.
