This book is designed for the busy life of a mom. It has a verse on one page, and a short story on the next. I could read a few pages at a time and not feel cheated because of being called away to tie a shoe or change a diaper. It is a witty and encouraging. I had to buy my sister, mother of six, a copy also. It is the first book I read begining to end in a very long time! I think parents that have children over the age of 3 get the most from the book. And, the more children you have, the more you will love this book.

I bougt this book because, as a busy mom, I really don't have a lot of time to just sit and read, so the one-page mini-devotionals were great. However, once I started reading the first page, I could not put this book down. It made me cry at certain points, but laugh at others. The stories touch your heart and you will find yourself nodding, "I've been there before!" Awesome book!

I love this book! This is the 4th one I have bought ( 1 for me 3 for gifts). I recommend it to all moms. It has a short saying and a scripture on one side and a short story on the other side, all three relate.Love it!!
