Refreshing to read real life stories of the miracles that are all around us if we just look for them. Thank you Sally for putting these stories together for our enjoyment.I am sure many will now be more aware of the goodness of God.

Prayers and Blessings, February 6, 2012
This review is from: God's Little Miracle Book II (Paperback)
At the beginning of God's Little Miracle Book II, author Sally Jadlow writes "It is my hope and prayer that these stories will strengthen your faith, and that your life will be blessed by our awesome, Almighty God." The more than two dozen stories in this small volume, 86 pages, live up to her hope and prayer.
More than forty years ago I was told by a spiritual person that when you read a story, and it gives you chills, you know it's a true story. While that's hardly a criteria for believing what someone writes, I found several stories in Jadlow's book did produce chills. That's not to say any of the stories are not true, but rather that certain stories resonated more with me than did others.
The first story in the book gave me goose bumps. It's the story of an airline pilot in flight to Australia when the World Trade Center attack took place on 9/11, and six suspicious characters aboard his flight. I've re-read it several times and every time I got the chills.
Jadlow is a good storyteller. She uses an economy of words and doesn't burden readers with unnecessary background and description. She tells about an event, how she prayed for God's intervention or guidance, and how her prayers were answered. One story, "Danger on Waikiki Beach" is about her personal encounter with a mysterious surfer, whose words saved her and her five-year old daughter's lives.
Though it's a small volume, it isn't a book to plow through. It's better read slowly, taking the time to ponder each story and go deeper than just the words of the event. It's also a book that can help readers look for and recognize God working in his or her life.
It Made a Difference to that One
