More About the Author

Peterson, now retired, was for many years James M. Houston Professor of Spiritual Theology at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia. He also served as founding pastor of Christ Our King Presbyterian Church in Bel Air, Maryland. In addition to his widely acclaimed paraphrase of the Bible, The Message (NavPress), he has written many other books.

I've used this book to give away as Christmas gifts to friends while living overseas. It is a beautiful book which tells the story of the birth of Christ as written in The Message, alongside the lyrics to Christmas carols and gorgeous artwork throughout. I actually received one as a gift myself while living in Turkey, but ended up giving it away. I then bought 4 more to give away! I look forward to buying one just to have for myself!
