I truly love this devotional because of how Mr.Shreve seemlessly laid out the promises of GOD and its benefits.What is also remarkable is his emphasis on the signifance of declaring the promises of God upon our lives, especially our children. It is so amazing the results that materialize as we boldly pronounce Gods promises on our family. For generations the Jews have steadfastly decree Gods promises upon their family and every generations have witnessed the staggering impact it has had upon the world. Somewhere along the lines, the church has lost this ancient art. Every believer must reclaim this tradition and decree in faith what God has already given us and our family. I recommand every believer read this book. The cover is very beautiful.

In these perilous times, we are all concerned for our children and grandchildren. This book is a wonderful guide for daily prayer for children and grandchildren, and for building faith and hope for their future based on the Word of God.

Finally! A book that makes it effortless to fulfill our responsibility of praying for our children. This book is a powerful arsenal of God's wonderful promises for our children. I know that God wants us - as parents - to prayerfully bring our children before Him on a daily basis. I have always known these promises were written in God's word, and have hap-hazardly tried to "cover all of the bases" in the lives of our four children. This book is an answer to my prayers. It is such a blessing to finally have a book which has presented these promises in a way that my husband and I can easily profess them over our children. I am so thankful the Lord has given Mike Shreve this tremendous insight into His word, and the ability to expound it so clearly.

What an amazing book! I have been reading and praying through it on a regular basis over the past few months and have experienced the blessing of God for my children in real and tangible ways. It has also been a tremendous faith-builder for me as I have watched God faithfully respond to the prayers that are based on His own promises in the Word. I am convinced that this book is a very powerful AND practical tool to do what most parents truly desire to do for their children - bless them with the blessings of the Lord!

I pray over my children daily, yet this book has opened up an avenue in prayer and declaration over my seed. The promises in the word as well as the prayer of declaration on each page is changing the very foundation of my children lives. The financial, spiritual, and generational promises are manifesting in my children lives daily. I continue to repeat and meditate on God's promises for them. Three out of my four daughters are now attending church regularly. I know that the fourth will be there soon. This book is a must have for parents. My only regret is that it wasn't around when my girls were younger so I could have been praying it over them as they grew up!!!

I recently purchased the book God's Promises for Your Children and am very glad to have these powerful and beautiful prayers to pray over my children. Mine are actually grown, but the prayers are timeless and have authority to see the goodness of God proclaimed everyday for us. Thank you Dr. Shreve for this thoughtful book that will surely bless Christian families.
