This review is from: Gods and Spacemen in the Ancient West (Paperback)
This is just one in a series of Raymond Drake's "Gods and Spacemen..." books that are in a series of four--The Ancient West, The Ancient East, Greece & Rome, and Ancient Israel. Sure, scoff at the subject matter, but consider that the vast majority of us are programmed from head to toe and have been since birth. In that sense, one may seek to muster the courage, open mindedness, intellect, and curiosity to consider the subject matter of this book and the others in this series as being extraordinarily serious in content and ramification. Even if one is hopelessly parochial and stuck in his or her narrow programmed broadband of comprehension, consider that these books were on the desks of dignitaries at the United Nations during the 1960s and 1970s. These were serious people who were seriously interested in Drake's work. At minimum, the amazing primary source material that Drake uses as references to elaborate his theses is reason enough to scope out at least one, if not all four of these books. Each has its own flavor, my favorite being "Gods & Spacemen of Ancient Israel," although they are all great.

While old, there are many things brought out here that have not been covered in the media in recent times. If you are interested in this type of thing you will find it an excellent read. So much of unreported history as well as where we may have come from and ancient visitor possibilities are covered. Lots of information. His other books are interesting and well written also.

5.0 out of 5 stars Second hand review, November 13, 2011

I gave this as a gift but didn't read it first myself, but my cousin phoned me to say he was enjoying it very much. Having read others in this series, I am giving it five stars anyway, assuming it is comparable. Convincing evidence of alien visitation.
