I have never heard the issues surrounding human sexuality discussed in such a candid and intelligent way. This is not a book about only one aspect of human behavior such as homosexuality, polygamy, incest etc. It deals with many facets of human behavior. This book has something to offer to anyone interested in understanding more about themselves, whatever your issues may be!
The author has no self serving agenda as I see it. He was very open and vulnerable about sensitive areas concerning his own life and clearly has nothing left to hide. In the introduction he instructs the reader on how to read the material and guides the mindset needed to understand the information appropriately. The book builds upon basic fundamental knowledge that he attempts to instil within the reader prior to the introduction of later chapters. Though a bit slow in the first 30 or so pages, it would be difficult to grasp the complete story without this early basic understanding. I can see why he warns his readers about inappropriate skipping around that would leave you "no more enlightened than if you had never read it."
He does not appear to be preaching to his readers, just plainly stating realities about humanity that may be difficult for some individuals to admit. He challenges the political agendas of certain subgroups while also showing concern for their personal stories that lead them to many errors in thinking.
It requires a significant amount of intellectual power to grasp many of the topics completely, especially the discussion on behavioral addiction. I found myself re-reading certain portions to assure my understanding was in line with what he was trying to portray. I do not feel this is a negative concerning his writing style. How to communicate these difficult concepts in written form had to be very difficult.
I feel this books sets the foundation for real discussion about extremely tough topics that seem to be relavent to modern ideas surrounding morality. Anyone who reads this and is not changed in some way or another is not looking for the truth.

This book was eye opening for me. I appreciate the author's directness. His focus on our identity in Christ based on scripture is well done. Insightful book.
