It amazes me that somebody picked up the book, prominently titled "God's Way is Still the Best Way," and was disappointed when the book talked about ... GASP ... God!

In related news, I'm exceedingly angry that Monday Night Football only airs on Monday nights, and that the Emperor of Japan has no authority in France.

As anyone having ever read one of his books knows, Mr. Zig Ziglar has never been a man to shy away from his faith. He embraces it! This book is an insightful compilation of stories exploring the way faith-propelled individuals impact the world.

This is a book written by Zig Ziglar, the Christian, for individuals wanting to enrich their lives and improve the world around them.

It is not a book written by Zig Ziglar, the Salesman, for salespeople wanting to improve their closing techniques.

I can only say that I have read and cherished all of Zig's works and this one is no exception. Religious views and lack thereof aside, this is a work which gives insights into some people's lives and is well written and very insightful. I think it is very well done and from a literary sense, held this reader's attention due to its readability and content. Zig, as one reader pointed out, never was one to shy away from his beliefs and whether you agree with them or not is not important. The fact that he embraces them and very adeptly puts it all on paper. Another well done for Ziglar.

Great inspirational short stories are displayed. People who have created great businesses, role models and how they've impacted their surroundings... all while giving God the glory for their successes. Reading the sacrifices, the uphill battles, and the great turn around that God has done in each of these individuals lives. I've referred this book to many b/c it makes me smile that people of God are building the kingdom of God here in the Earth.

If you are interested in reading lots of inspiring stories about people who have discovered spiritual realities concerning life here and beyond, this book is a great read. Of course, those who believe the omnipotent creator and giver of life is a mere "superstition" will not be inmpressed. It is doubtful such people would even be impressed by the literal resurrection of a dead person. This book is for those who have acquired some wisdom about God. They will find it refreshing and inspirational.

So many times in business & in the spirit of capitalism we focus strictly on making money. This book shares w/ us examples of business leaders who have adopted God's teachings in their business practices. Read the stories and you'll be thrilled to read about how God has shown favor to these people. Like many of Zig Ziglar's other books this is an easy read and really holds your attention.

I have never heard anyone except Zig suggest that the "Fruit of the Spirit" can be viewed grouped in 3 sections (Inward (from God) "Love, Joy, Peace;" Upward (to God) "Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control;" and Outward (to Others) "Patience, Kindness, Goodness." This has helped me so much when I think of the verses in Galatians 5:21-22.

And the creativity of Zig, associating with each "Fruit" people he knew who he felt were good examples for exhibiting that particular "Fruit of the Spirit."

This is one of my personal "Top Ten Books!"
