Book Description

January 30, 2006
Biblical passages that imply Christ’s atonement was intended to “save everyone” and those that imply it was intended to “save only the Predestined of God” have resulted in tension and confusion within Christianity for centuries. Turner examines the universal passages that the atonement “saved everyone,” the interpretations of the best known theological systems (Universalism, Arminianism, Strict Calvinism, and Moderate Calvinism), and proposes a theological system that interprets universal passages, literally, without sacrificing the literal interpretation of passages on Predestination. God’s Wrath Postponed is the summarization of twenty years of biblical research.

This review is from: God's Wrath Postponed (Paperback)
God's Wrath Postponed offers a alternative explanation for the Christian theological controversy on the extent of the Atonement, or "for whom did Christ die" (Limited Atonement, Unlimited Atonement, and Universalism, etc.). It is written with a detailed examination and explanation of critical passages and terms.
