5.0 out of 5 stars Gigan, July 25, 2005
A Kid's Review
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Godzilla 2002 6.5" Gigan Action Figure By Bandai (Toy)
In the Godzilla movies, Gigan is a force to be reckoned with. He is a monster from space that teams up with ghidorah. They destroy tokyo and then Godzilla shows up and kick there butts.
But this gigan figure doesn't deserve all the glory it gets from the movie. Its your standard action figure,5 points of articulation and some nice poses. But what really will grab your attention is the detail. It looks like they grabed the figure straight out of the movie. Put don't buy it online. You can buy it in a store for 9 bucks. Why would you pay more than double when you can just go to your local KB toys and get it for 8.99?

This review is from: Godzilla 2002 6.5" Gigan Action Figure By Bandai (Toy)
This toy represents how Gigan appeared in the 1970's films Godzilla vs. Gigan and Godzilla vs. Megalon, and for the most part it's a nice work. The head, arms, and legs are all posable.

Gigan is probably a top ten monster in terms of popularity among Godzilla fans, so it was important that Bandai get this toy right, and they succeeded, fortunately, because their first go at a toy Gigan back in the eighties is infamous for being terribly inaccurate.

I recommend this toy, but not at the current price it's going for - you should be able to find it for fifteen dollars or less elsewhere. Always shop around, especially when purchasing Godzilla merchandise.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Toy, Great Monster, October 30, 2005

This review is from: Godzilla 2002 6.5" Gigan Action Figure By Bandai (Toy)
This toy is a extremely cool and detailed Godzilla toy.
It is based off Gigan, from Godzilla Vs Gigan (1972) and Godzilla Vs Megalon (1973). The Space Monster is a great toy,
and I reccomend it to any Godzilla fan.

My 7 year old grandson is the Godzilla fan. When he was younger, it was dinosaurs. I've purchased those through Amazon over the years too. While watching a DVD of either species, he likes to have the action figures at hand to play with. I guess the sound of the DVD sets the atmosphere better.
