Greatest book I've ever read!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Godzilla: Journey to Monster Island (Official Godzilla) (Paperback)
The book was great because the way the monsters were created by the author - they were so realistic. But Godzilla is the cutest monster you would ever come accross. Just compare him to Rodan. I was surprised that other animals survived the atomic blast. That was an interesting twist to the story. It was also interesting the way Godzilla started out in life as a Godzillasaurus and then mutated into the lovable beast that he is.This version of Godzilla is - I think - better than the actual movie GODZILLA. I bought the book at 4PM and had finished reading it at 5PM and am reading it again tonight. What a great book!

I love the cover. It has 3 of my favorite monsters on it. It is a very good book. I don`t like how Anguirus and Rodan are under controll by-- well i have said too much for people who have not read it. If you can only get one Godzilla book get this one!

Cool, but sort of Un-Godzilla...,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Godzilla: Journey to Monster Island (Official Godzilla) (Paperback)
I got this book at G-Fest 3 years ago and at the time I loved it so much I finished it in one day. But when I reread it just recently, I found that it has one major problem: NO one gets killed! Honestly, this is Godzilla not Barney. I like how Godzilla's feelings are talked about because they make him sound like someone who's not a hero, but also not a villain. I like that. But in the few scenes where something does get destroyed, all of the people either eject or run away before the monsters can get them. Times this happens: the fight in the Washington Mountains, the attack on the bridge, the rampage in the mall, the battle in the port of Seattle and the fight with the terrorists on Monster Island. I thought all of the monsters (Godzilla, Rodan, Anguirus, Kamacuras, Kumonga and Varan) wre cool and, unlike some fans, I thought the monsters the guy made up were cool. But because of the thing I mentioned earlier, this book is lowered to 4 stars.

The best of Scott Ciencin's Godzilla series I've ever read!I really thought it was good, although it was only 108 pages long. This is a great book for any Godzilla fan!
