Great toy. Very sturdy. As I posted in my Gigan review, toysrus.com has this toy for less than half what amazon is charging. It is $19.99 on their site. Usually amazon either beats or is close to the competition but on this, the 12" Godzilla, Gigan and other figures they are WAY over the price. You could get 2 at toysrus.com for what amazon wants for one.

Although there have been Godzilla toys made in the past that were larger than this, they were usually ridiculously expensive resin statues and such best suited for hardcore collectors. Kiryu (aka MechaGodzilla 3) stands a full 12 inches in height, even managing to dwarf the other "12-inch scale" toy in this line, Godzilla 2004.

He's durable, posable in several places, and surprisingly lightweight. The details are excellent and true to how Kiryu appeared in both the movies and the recent video game Godzilla Unleashed (Wii). I heartily recommend this figure - it's the crown jewel of Bandai Creation's USA Godzilla toyline.

5 articulation points: tail, both shoulders, waist, neck. Tough, semi-flexible plastic. It's humongous at 12 inches tall! Very impressive size for $20. It does not come with the drill hand, back unit, sword blade, or forearm lasers. This is the Millenium Mechagodzilla 3 aka Kiryu, from the movies Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and Godzilla Tokyo SOS.

We found this toy at Toysrus for 22.99$ And it was the biggest of all Godzilla figures. 12 feet tall.
The paint Job is very beautiful on it.
You can move his arms, Tail, and stomach. (Except the legs)
It is made of hard plastic so that it can't fall apart.
This is the most beautiful Godzilla figure collection I've ever had.
This toy isn't for small kids because they'd might tear it apart. Just like in the box said Ages 4 and up which was wrong.
I'd suggest that an 8 or 10 year old would play with it perfectly.
It is a good thing that we did not buy it at Amazon.com because over priced. You should always buy it at Toysrus they were only 22.99$.

This MechaGodzilla (Kiryu) is well put together, well sculpted, and well painted. A perfect representation of my favourite MechaGodzilla.

I gave this toy to my grandson for Christmas. He was absolutely beside himself with excitement. He is 8 years old and a huge Godzilla fan thanks to me buying him the movies. This toy is a good size, its large for little hands to manuever, it is very detailed and true to the character. I highly recommend this figure for any fan of Godzilla.

I bought this for my grandson. His face lit up when he saw it - he was so happy! Not sure about the education value of the item, but I'm glad to see him using his imagination when he plays with it, rather than sitting and playing video games. The toy is built tough and sturdy. Thank you.

This toy is exactly like the one in the movie. The only thing is that the legs don't move. The spikes on his back can be sharp.

My son loves the toy, but I later found the price I paid was more than double that of Toys R Us. Granted, this was purchased from an affiliate seller, but come on Amazon!

This Mechagodzilla toy is sturdy and durable with a highly amount of detail from both Godzilla movies. A must have for godzilla collecters but it doesn't have a tag. Still it should be bought if you'r a fan of Kiryu and collects Godzilla models.
