5.0 out of 5 stars GINO is back!!!, January 31, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Godzilla The Series, Trouble Hatches - Vol.1 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Hello, kaiju fans. It's Andre again (see reviews for Godzilla 2000 and Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee), and now I'm writing my 3rd review on yet another awesome movie (although GDAMM is a game). Following the Tristar movie, Nick Tatopoulus comes across the last GINO (aka American Godzilla) egg, which happens to hatch at that moment. It imprints on Nick, getting the impression that Nick is his mother like a baby chick. Later it reappears as a 180 foot creature (how did that happen?) and is kept secret by Nick and friends. But you can't keep something that big a secret, and the military apparently destroys it. Later the team goes to Jamaica to investigate strange happenings where they are attacked by giant mutant squids, and are saved by GINO! They find some of the squids sucked dry on shore. The team realizes they are dealing with a larger food chain than they thought and a giant crab-like monster (Crustaceous Rex) suddenly rises from the ocean to feed off the highway tar, a substitute for the tar from the squids. GINO soon arrives and destroys Crustaceous Rex, but the military comepletly ignores this fact and quickly surrounds GINO with helicopters, but don't shoot when Nick warns Colonal Hicks that GINO is the only thing that stands between them and every other mutatian that comes along and that there would be others. Later that night Nick remarks that whatever they would face in the future, they wouldn't be facing it alone as GINO sticks his head out from the dock and roars.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best episodes!, October 29, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Godzilla The Series, Trouble Hatches - Vol.1 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
A good video with lots of action, the plot is where the godzilla egg that hatches at the end of the godzilla movie, hatches in the cartoon. It finds the guy from the movie and thinks he is its mother. Meanwhile in Jamaica a bunch of giant squids start attacking people. A must buy!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome series, June 22, 2004
This review is from: Godzilla The Series, Trouble Hatches - Vol.1 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I was looking through my boxes of old tapes I had and I found a tape of the animated Godzilla series that use to be on fox awhile ago. This series is awesome. The story is great. The series is great.

And the best parts are the new enemies Godzilla fights.
This is also a hard to find series. It wasn't very popular and got canclled. Damn! Now there will never be an acctual ending to the series of course I may be wrong but I don't remember why It got cancled but I think it's because of the ratings.
The series is DIFFENENTLY better then the movie remake.

Check this out or I mean buy it off amazon.
This seris wasn't the best but it was one hell of a series.
Get this before it's out of print.

Later
