I love this painting! The kit was different than other paint by numbers in that it had no numbers except the on the chart in the instructions. I started to paint and realized that I didn't miss the tiny little numbers a bit- nor was there any color mixing in this kit. The directions were easy to follow, the paints and brush were a better quality than most of the kits you can buy, and the painting came out great. They said it would look like a Van Gogh and not a paint by number, and it really did! I also painted a Degas Degas WOMAN BATHING Paint by Number Kitfrom the same company and while it had some color mixing, the finished painting was absolutely beautiful.

For the most part it was good, but there was barely any "midnight blue" in my set. There was enough of the other colors, but I couldn't do the first step of the painting until I bought more paint - I didn't have enough to get halfway through step 1. Reading others' reviews I have to suspect that this was a fluke and the set is typically a good one, but I was disappointed in the set I got with the first container of paint not even 1/4 full. After all was said and done it did come out well, though.

Final product turned out well, my only complaint is that a couple of the paint colors were very transparent..almost stain like and there wasn't enough of it to do more than one coat to get complete coverage. I had to use additional acrylic paints that I had on hand to not be able to see the outlines that were pre-printed on the "canvas".

I bought this for a friend, who is a big Van Gogh fan and she enjoyed her time painting it! There's no numbers but there are simple instructions on how to paint it and its really easy. no stress just loads of fun to enjoy!

If you like painting & being creative at the same time, go for this! It is different from paint by numbers by Dimension Work. There is no number system but very raw draft and all the details are up to you that is why, it is very creative. Some of the areas on pic need double coat and i also mixed the colours to achieve the final look but I have had so much fun! Highly recommended! More for experienced!

I have never painted anything other than a few walls in my house. That being said, my version of this famous Van Gogh turned out beautifully! I had plenty of paint, 3 brushes that lasted very well throughout the painting, and a final product that blew me away. I couldn't hardly believe that I had painting it! I did this on a whim because I needed more than books for my "down time", and will be doing more of these in the future! Well worth the money, and I plan to have it framed to hang in my office at work.

Of the three kits from this company I had the best luck with this one. I still didn't care for the color hues nor the canvas - I ended up using better quality acrylic paint for the project just to be able to finish it - I pretty much used the paint included as a "primer". Not happy enough to spend the money on having this one framed as I have others.

I have no complaints! The shipment was quick, I got it in less than a week. The painting was fool proof, I am a first-timer, and it turned out great! Great experience overall!
