A series of case studies features photographers describing why they converted to digital; the problems and benefits they encountered; tips for others who are thinking of doing the same and more. Each photographer also presents a number of images that were either shot or processed digitally, along with an explanation of how digital imaging made that shot possible, better, easier or more cost-effective. 3.0 out of 5 stars Late review, July 14, 2010
This review is from: Going Digital Wedding and Portrait Photography (Paperback)
Was a good book for the time but way out dated. I grew up in the film/digital industry from 2000-2008 and i can say it was fun. Know this, the most expensive camera doesn't always make for the best pictures and the author misses this sometimes. I would sneak into weddings weeks before my job and take shots like my client wanted. this gave me time to work out new cameras, lens, settings, etc. It is very important to know your gear in your sleep. Weddings are too fast a pace to fiddle with your camera. Expierence is better sometimes to book smarts.

This book is a good place to begin if you haven't made the move to digital yet. Although some of the information is a little dated with the rapid changes in cameras, there is still much that is valuable within this book.
