Not a Good How to, not very erotic, January 7, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Going Down: Great Writing on Oral Sex (Hardcover)
If you are looking for a good how to, this is not it. If you are looking for erotic material, I'm sure there are other works out there. I bought this book expecting tips and methods. But there are only a few sections on how-to. Be sure to check this one out at a bookstore before buying. It may not be what you want.

good, but lacking..., May 9, 2005
This review is from: Going Down: Great Writing on Oral Sex (Hardcover)
going down is a good look at oral sex from a variety of literary authors/artists. everyone from anais nin, norman mailer, frank zappa to oscar wilde. the excerpt from "portnoy's complaint" by philip roth is hilarious. only problem is some of the stories seem incomplete. the frank zappa and frank harris stories are only a couple of pages long and left me disappointed, wanting more. overall, a good book to have. there's lots of used copies to purchase.

This book really helped me to open up to my partner. It gives you an oopen eyed view to oral sex and I think everyone should read it. Antonio and I are happier than ever :)

So much for how-to, and there come the literature!, February 19, 1999
This review is from: Going Down: Great Writing on Oral Sex (Hardcover)
It is to many's surprise to find this handy size book lingering on the book shelf. Many of my peers are facisnated to see numberous great names to appear on an analogies for such a "odd" topic... to me it is just a assurance of quality words. Chronicle Books had too published another two other analogies of similar "odd" natures, check them out too if you are looking for something different.
