This review is from: Going Home to School (Paperback)
I got this book several years ago when I started homeschooling. It lays out several different reasons why may Christians are choosing to homeschool and I thought is made some good points when I originally read it.

Although we are Christians, that is not the reason we chose to homeschool, so I decided later to sell it at a local curriculum sale. I found myself wanting to refer to it more than I ever thought, so I reordered it.

It discusses a brief history of education in America and the hidden curriculum in public schools. I have used to history of education information quite often in my discussion with others about homeschooling. It also gives solid arguements for some of the criticisms faced by homeschoolers. Not that I try to argue with folks about my choice, but it does give me a peace of mind knowing that I could effectively debate the issue should the occasion ever arise.
