Just got back from Italy 5/8/2011. We went to most of the popular locations. This adapter work well, the pin diameter was correct for all our Hotels. For most locations this one was sufficient. However I also purchased a 3 pin adapter (includes ground pin) and I'm glad I did. Some hotels had somewhat recessed outlets that our particular voltage converter would not directly plug into. The three pin adapter fit into the recessed outlets and accepted device plugs from most countries, which allowed plugging the voltage converter into that adapter. Also while I didn't test if true, some 3 pin outlets appeared to have a device in the ground pin hole that may need to be depressed for the outlet to work. As I said I didn't test that, I just used the 3 pin. You may want to bring both a two and three pin.

This item was purchased because I was not sure about the plugs in italy. It did work well but I just used the 3 prong the whole time and they worked fine. Some people said the plugs would fall out of the wall or you needed a 3 prong adaptor if the wall had a 3 prong plug. I did not find it to be the case they both work fine. The 2 or 3 prong would work just as well just make sure it is for italy.

I ordered this plug adapter one week before I left for Italy. It arrived promptly and worked fantastic. Seems to be well made and sturdy.......

This unit works very well. I found myself leaving two weeks ahead of schedule, and I needed 5 of these adaptors.I was very impressed with how fast the company shipped it to me.I will definitely use them again.

Traveled to Siena, Florence, and Rome - the plug worked perfectly at all 3 hotels. I am glad that I bought multiple adaptors in various types, but I had no problems with this one.

Great adapter! I bought these for a 2-month trip to Italy, and they have been fantastic. They've always fit properly and they are STURDY! I couldn't imagine these things falling apart like other adapters that I've read reviews about have done.

Simple, easy, and cheap!!!! I had no problems with the adapter (cell, iPad, cptr, camera, etc). It does not work well for razors/curlers.

This adaptor has a defective screw which causes the unit to separate when you pull it out of the outlet- extremely dangerous, especially at 240V! Also, WAY overpriced for what it is. Go instead with VCT VP 107 Universal Outlet Plug Adaptor for Italy; it is three-pronged, but you should be OK with the majority of outlets you encounter.

This Italian adapter plug B works great! I ordered this product three days before my two week vacation to Italy and received my package the next day with overnight shipping. Can't wait to go back prepared with travel tools!
