5.0 out of 5 stars Your basic SS cd, April 25, 2001
This review is from: Going Nowhere Fast (Audio CD)
It's good, because it's coming from the Satanic Surfers. If you're looking for good, fast, melodic punk rock from Sweden and are sick of Millencolin, check out these guys. Don't let the name scare you away, because they're not satanic or anything. They got the name from their two main inspirations, the Misfits (Glenn Danzig, dur) and the Hard-Ons (Who they were called the 90's version of). Anyways, back to the cd. It's good, but if you're going to get their cd and you're new to them, get "Hero Of Our Time" or "666 Motor Inn". All in all, it's a good cd for all the skate punks out there looking for something new.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Surfers Don't Dissapoint, February 16, 2000

This review is from: Going Nowhere Fast (Audio CD)
Once I popped in the new Surfers album I was completely blown away. Going Nowhere Fast is a fast paced cd, most comparable to their Hero of Our Time release (one of my favourite punk cd's of all time). If you like fast paced punk rawk with catchy balads, the Surfers are the band for you. I think this is their best cd yet, and the fact that the drummer is the lead singer blows my mind to this day. No joke, get this cd!

5.0 out of 5 stars the best in west coast political punk, July 25, 2001
By
This review is from: Going Nowhere Fast (Audio CD)
while not overly political, the band satanic surfers is some of the best west coast hard core punk i have heard. once i started listening to this album i couldnt stop, i listened to it every day for 2 months. tracks that especially got a message across were "institutionalizing murder" and the second track, about the lack of choice in people to elect for running your lives and telling you how to live. i would suggest this album to anyone who is a fan of fast music, and everyone who is a fan of melodic music. -Monk
