I bought this for my sister and she found it very helpful when she went to Salt Lake City last year.

While there is still some quality info in this book, you'll really have to dig for it. It was written in the early 90s and has info on which buttons to push in the computer at the FHL to access certain things. It tells you to make index cards to take with you. In todays world you'd just take your laptop or tablet with you. It is what it is, and it was only $1 plus shipping, and if I dig I'll get some info out of it.

I just bought this book, haven't spent more than 10 minutes alone with it (life, so busy). I have another book about SLC which was good, so, I am hoping this will fill in any blanks.
