The story of Mr. Beale's known history is an interesting story to start with. The story of the searches and discoveries keep the interest high. The speculations about the treasure's secrets is frustrating as it keeps the interest peaked and sets the mind to thinking of my own speculations and efforts to break the last code. I recommend this book to history buffs, as well as treasure hunters, cryptogrophers and the like.
