Book Description

February 15, 2002
A legendary Turkomen carpet reaches from a sandy tomb to ensnare carpet expert Mike Halib in a morass of treachery and greed. He is swept from the forbidden sands of Saudi Arabia to the raw wilderness of the Hindu Kush, where he battles for his life in a scenario of love and death.

A lethal secret, hidden by the Khans in an ancient Turkomen carpet, reaches from a sandy grave to pluck ex-green beret Mike Halib from his home in California and thrusts him into the tribal intrigue of Saudi Arabia.

Within the veiled desert culture, and against a background of murder, torture, and romance, the carpet arises from the grave and sweeps Mike to the land of his Turkomen ancestors; the Hindu Kush. Here, in a bloody confrontation with the mercenaries of lust and greed, he is brought face to face with the Flower of Death and the terrible secret woven into his ancestral roots. Mike Halib takes no prisoners.
