Britt Nicole is back with her highly anticipated third full-length release Gold on March 27, 2012. Britt is one of my favorite female artists. She has an incredible heart for her ministry, is a wonderful role model for girls of all ages and she has an excellent singing voice. If you like Francesca Battistelli and mainstream pop music, then you'll love Britt Nicole. She has delivered the ideal album to minister to anyone struggling with identity issues. I've been married for almost 18 years and have 3 young daughters and this entire album really ministers to me and my family. She opens with the ultra-catchy dance-tempo title track, "Gold" which perfectly sets the tone for this excellent five star album. The title track opens with the lyrics--"You were walking on the moon, now you're feeling low, what they said wasn't true, you're beautiful, sticks and stones break your bones, I know what you're feeling, words like those won't steal your glow...you're worth more than gold." My daughters are more precious than anything in the world to me and to their Heavenly Father, and this song is a great anthem to celebrate the biblical Truth from Psalm 139, that we are "fearfully and wonderfully made."

Britt's favorite Scripture passage is 1 Chronicles 28:20 which she says reminds her daily of God's calling on her life. Hit song "All This Time" is next and has a sincere autobiographical style where Britt shares her testimony of when she was first met God and celebrates her salvation in Christ. It's the type of song that I've come to really love from Britt's albums in the style of "Set The World On Fire.

This album is wonderful! I have recently found out about "Britt Nicole." I have bought all her albums in the last week. "Gold" that came out today has a great modern pop sound, but with inspiring lyrics that are fun to dance or work out to!

This album really has a hip-hop sound to it, especially because of Ready or Not featuring Lecrae. I get the sense that Britt Nicole was really trying for a Rihanna or Katy Perry sound (not really acquainted with their music or care to be) which might turn off some, but I think she nailed it. Britt Nicole shows that a third album slump doesn't have to happen. her love for God and reaching out to young people and sharing the love of Jesus with them is still very much relevant here. If you want something that is comparable to the world's pop music that has a strong Christian message, check this out. All This time is probably my most favorite song off this album. In conclusion, it may not be for everyone, but if hip-hop music like Lecrae or Tobymac style is you're kinda thing, you'll love this album.

Britt Nicole's third album was decent. Her music seems to be changing slightly, getting a little less pop, and a little more classical (classical Christian music). Still, it was a good album and most of her songs were upbeat and fun.
If you like: Brandon Heath or Mandisa, give Britt's album a go.

Internationally known to top the charts in the UK and throughout the US, Britt Nicole is no stranger to the music industry. Her sophomore release, "The lost get found" debuted at number one on the Christian Album Billboard charts and produced three top ten singles. On March 26, 2012 she will be releasing her third album, "Gold". It is ironic to me that God's perfect number is three and this album introduces itself as her best production to date.

Britt was born in North Carolina on August 2, 1985. Three short years later she began to utilize her vocal gift from God in her home church. She continued to blossom, singing on her local church television program and gracing the prestigious Carnegie Hall stage with her High School's advanced choir. In 2011 she carried a nomination for "Female Vocalists of Year" through the Dove Award association.

With two chart-topping albums in her pocket Miss Nicole has accumulated a large solid fan base. I have a feeling on March 26, that number is going to increase. The vocals on "Gold" resemble that which would be created by morphing Adele and Kate Perry into one voice. Lyrically speaking it's more of a combination between Dara Maclean and Royal Tailor. With intricate beats that will get you on your feet and lyrically and vocally matured vibe this is definitely not a par for the course addition to her discography.

"All this time", which was the first release has been steadily remaining at number 16 for three weeks on the Billboard charts. Any one who has truly been transformed by the love of God, could very well be wiping a tear away as this song reminds you how great He has truly been. Lyrically expressing, "I hear these people asking me, how do I know what I believe?
