This is the best record for country music rodeo songs in the USA. He sings about what it was realy like for him. This CD helped me decide weather or not to start rodeoin'. I have been to a lot of rodeo's and I think the funniest one is #10: Photo Finish. This actualy happened to him. Give it a listen. Also, the song Goin' and a Blowin' is good. Same with It ain't the years, it's the miles. This is true if you look at Tuff Hedimen. 4 time world champ Bull Rider who just recently rode Bodacious (Deadly Bull).

This is one great CD. Chris's music is something that I can identify with. He has lived alot of the same experiances that I have. He is no dime store wanna-be, he is the real thing. That is so hard to find these days.

A very good CD. Chris does a good job of telling stories via his music. We lost a kind and compassionate and very talented man when he died.

It's just good Cowboy music. Gets your feet to tapping and makes you want to dance along with the CD. Keeps me moving when I'm doing housework and is great driving music.

I OWN CHRIS LEDOUX'S "BEST OF...," "HAYWIRE," AND "STAMPEDE" CDs. WHILE LISTENING TO "GOLD BUCKLE," I THOUGHT A DIFFERENT MAN WAS SINGING. THESE SONGS WERE RECORDED WHEN CHRIS WAS IN HIS LATE TWENTIES/THIRTIES. AT THAT TIME, HIS VOICE DID NOT HAVE THAT MATURE AND MANLY GRIT THAT'S SO ENDEARING ON THE CDs AFOREMENTIONED. I'LL ALWAYS LOVE CHRIS LEDOUX,YET, HIS SOUND ON THIS CD WAS QUITE SHOCKING.

I purchased this for a gift for my man. He doesn't read books. This one he is reading and can't put it down. Wonderful writing and pictures. Great for any Chris Ledoux lover.
