what can you say about The Godfather?you name it he has done it.the drums are always tight.The Guitar is Grooving&The Bass as well.The Man&his Music are Both Timeless Treasures that will Continue To LEave Generations of People in Awe.The 4/4 beat will never be the same again.He is in a Class all unto Himself.

I never knew now much I enjoyed James Brown's music until I bought this CD.
I had always seen him pop up on the TV from time to time and the spoofs on his live performances that Eddie Murphy used to do in his stand-up act were hilarious, but I never really knew what an unbelievable performer he was until I popped this CD in and listened. There is not one minute of this CD that isn't filled with James Brown's energetic persona. The tempo he chooses for the songs and how quickly he switches from song to song is amazing. The band has trouble keeping up with. I really enjoy the pace of the CD and the fact that it is live and am glad that I chose this as my first James Brown CD to own since I truly feel he is at his best when placed in front of a live audience. This Cd is also great for working out to on the treadmill when you really need to get some good cardio in... another fringe benefit. |
