These bottle caps are great. I got them for crafts and love them. However, be aware that they are actually two-toned. Luckily I ordered a package of each color, but it would have been nice to know that the gold ones are actually silver on the inside and vice versa. I use the inside on most of my crafts so I would have needed to order the gold ones to get the silver to show (hope that makes sense). Otherwise they are wonderful - and a much better price than you can get in a craft store.

This fits the amber bottles that I purchased just right. Great for preserving the flavor of the hubby's latest home brew.

They are bottle caps and they function as expected, nothing fancy (I mean, they are bottle caps) but definitely functional. What else can I say....

I bought these caps in the hopes of using them to cap my recent batch of beer. What I ended up getting were caps that are nice and shiney but have no use on my bottles. I had to make a rushed trip around town to find bottles with the lever tops so my beer wouldn't be lost. They look just like the real thing but when it came down to putting them on my bottles and crimping them they don't hold up. out of 34 bottles of beer I used 67 caps, that's nearly twice what it should have been. The ones that did end up taking caps didn't hold the pressure of carbonation. They didn't explode but instead leaked so I had nearly flat beer in a few bottles. Moral of the story: Scrapbooking/Crafts a pretty good deal for nice looking caps, Home brewer: Highly not recommended.

The are your standard bottle caps. They fit your standard non twist top beer bottles and some champagne bottles. Friend of mine used these to seal small champagne splits which a single glass bottle of champagne. Was disappointed in the price. Went to my local brew supply store and was shocked to fine them for $3 less a 144 count pack. Amazon would not publish my first review of this product because I said they were cheaper locally lets see how far this review makes it.

I use these in crafts and am very pleased with this product.

GREAT PRICE: Considering that some bottlecaps in the craft stores are selling for more than $3 for just 12 pieces, these are a great value at about 5 cents a piece.

DETAILS: These caps are gold-toned (not bright, sort of antique gold) on the outside and sort of silver color on the inside. There is a liner on the inside which is relatively easy to remove by running an embossing tool around the edges then picking it up a bit and peeling it off, then just scraping off any leftover pieces. These are not flimsy. Inside diameter is 1".

STUFF I'VE DONE WITH THEM OR PLAN TO DO: If you don't care for the color, you can always paint them with acrylic paint, sharpies or alcohol inks. You can flatten them pretty easily...either with a rubber mallet (a bit noisy) or by running them through a cuttlebug (FUN and FAST!). Easily able to poke holes in them with an awl or crop-a-dile.

I would definitely order these again:)

Work like a champ. Zero failures from these. Highly recommended for sealing up your homebrew. I'm certain you'll like them as much as I do.

Solid product, good price. No cap seal issues, no bottle bombs. Caps are shiny gold and crimp easily. No issues with rust thus far.
