About the Author
Lois DeLorenzo is proof that a woman can raise three sons and still have time for many projects. She started to draw as a toddler in Robbinsdale, Minnesota and as an adult did free-lance commercial illustrations. She moved west in 1952 and caught Gold Fever in 1956. She and her husband went prospecting at every opportunity--between keeping busy with interior decorating, painting, lapidary, butterfly collecting and shell collecting.
