4.0 out of 5 stars Treasure trove, November 18, 2007
This review is from: Gold from Gemini (Hardcover)
That lovable rogue, Lovejoy is up to his old tricks, with an insatiable appetite for antiques and a knack for getting into trouble with no effort at all. Aided by his trusty, but madly irritating sidekick,Algernon, and his ever faithful lady friend, Janie, he comes into possession of a map of hidden Roman coins. A series of alarming accidents takes place, resulting in the death of one of his old dealer friends,so, being lovejoy, the eternal optimist, he sets forth for the Isle of Wight where this treasure trove is supposedly hidden. It's typical Lovejoy story, full of fascinating characters and wild situations and one which Jonathan Gash fans will adore.
