Read "The Wolf Hunters" first. "The Gold Hunters" is a sequel. Both are excellent stories with well developed characters, danger, adventure, and exciting discoveries. The only complaint that I have is that "The Gold Hunters" ends in such a way that you know that there is more to the story. The author probably intended to write another book in this series. If he did, I cannot find it, but I would love to read it if I knew where to get it.
