Good story for boys,

This review is from: The Gold Hunters A Story of Life and Adventure in the Hudson Bay Wilds (Kindle Edition)
This is an adventure tale set in northern Canada about 2 boys who rescue a kidnapped girl and then go on a treasure hunt for lost gold. It's written for boys, I'm guessing 9 to 12 years of age. It doesn't take long to read and has enough action to keep a kid entertained and interested, and will also teach about life in the Arctic wilderness. I read 2 other books set in the Arctic by this author which were for adults, so if you are one try Isobel or The Danger Trail, I liked Isobel better.

A rescue for love,
By Gretchen Nading (Ohio) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The gold hunters: A story of life & adventure in the Hudson Bay wilds (Hardcover)
An Indian maiden kidnapped, and the race to find her in the cold north country. I grew up reading this book and although I own it, my copy is almost in pieces. Curwood puts you in that frozen country in most descriptive words.
